SOUTHSIDE LACROSSE LEAGUE
The largest youth lacrosse league in Coastal Virginia!

REGISTRATION FOR OUR 13th FALL SEASON IS OPEN!

The Southside Fall League is designed to be a fun and more relaxed lacrosse season, with the primary goal of developing a "feeder" system into the local high schools to help grow the sport in Coastal Virginia and the Outer Banks. Teams are aligned as closely as possible with the spring Tidewater High School League. In past years, the Southside Fall format was "games only", with no formal practices.  However, as the League is growing, some coaches may incorporate occasional team practices.

Qualified US Lacrosse Certified coaches are provided for all Southside Fall Lacrosse teams and all games are officiated by Certified Officials.

The 13th Fall season of Southside Lacrosse includes the following divisions and programs:

  • Trained, Certified & Background-Verified Coaches

  • Close-to-Home practices (no practices summer season)

  • Skill development programs for first-time and beginner-level player

  • All games on synthetic turf fields at the PAAC at reasonable start times!

  • Courteous, professional staff available to assist families with answers and information

  • Implementation of US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model for Boys & Girls Youth Teams - learn more!

Southside Lacrosse Program Goals

SOUTHSIDE LACROSSE LEAGUE

Southside Lacrosse provides a US Lacrosse-based structure that gives student-athletes the opportunity to play the sport in a way that’s best for each stage of growth and development.

Introductory clinics, Boys' Developmental Programs and Girls' Developmental Programs are offered for those who are new to the sport. These beginner-level programs focus on teaching the skills needed to proceed to league competition.
